Shipyard Welder / Steel Structure Assembler - Barona Teollisuus Oy - Rauma, Finland

We are looking for metal construction workers for welding-focused tasks in Rauma. Initially, you will be employed through Barona, but there is also an opportunity to transfer directly to the client company's employment later. The work is suitable for those willing to work farther away, as you can work longer days and influence your time off around the weekends. The work is primarily performed in a single shift, and the duration of employment is 6 to 24 months, depending on your availability. Tasks include welding and installation of steel structures, pipes, penetrations, and cable trays on ship hulls and sections. The work is carried out in a shipyard environment throughout the year. Key aspects of the job include arc welding and, as needed, utilizing MIG/MAG methods for structural installations. You will work during the hull and outfitting phases of ship construction, and the job naturally involves fitting parts during installation (so-called fitting work).
