Job Description
As a Senior Data Engineer at RELEX Solutions, you will own the design, development, and evolution of data pipelines for pricing and promotions. You will drive scalability, build data integrations, develop tooling, and improve data quality. You will act as a senior technical contributor, guiding others and influencing design decisions, supporting customer implementations, and participating in discussions around incidents and product needs. The role requires experience in software engineering, scalable data pipelines, data modeling, and building integrations, with fluency in English. The position is based in the Eastern Time Zone in North America, with a valid U.S. work permit.

Responsibilities
- Own the design, development, and evolution of data pipelines for pricing and promotions systems
- Drive scalability and performance improvements across our data platform on Google Cloud Platform
- Build and enhance robust data integrations for large scale, customer specific datasets
- Develop tooling and pipelines that ensure reliable, observable, and maintainable data operations
- Contribute to new feature design and bring data driven ideas into production
- Monitor and continuously improve data quality, system performance, and reliability
Requirements
- Strong experience in software engineering in production environments
- Proven experience designing and building scalable data pipelines for large scale data processing
- Solid understanding of data modeling, analysis, and hypothesis driven development
- Experience building integrations for downstream or customer facing systems
- Good understanding of scalable data architectures and performance optimization
- Comfortable leveraging modern AI assisted development tools in your daily work
- Fluent in written and spoken English
