Job Description
We are looking for a Marketing Automation & Technology Specialist to join our team at Telia. I am Tiina Härjämäki, and I am seeking a technically skilled, curious, and development-oriented martech professional who is passionate about marketing automation, data, AI, and modern marketing technology. We are a supportive and future-oriented team developing B2B marketing, customer communication, and commercial concepts in close collaboration with business and sales. In this role, you will build and develop Telia's B2B customer communication automations and marketing technology solutions. Your work supports commercial activities and various customer communication needs. You will combine technical skills, data-driven thinking, and tangible business impact. You will build, pilot, and develop marketing automations such as triggers, automation paths, and communication processes. You will develop and maintain marketing technology solutions, automation systems, and customer data platforms. You will build and optimize customer data environments, segmentations, profiles, and data flows to ensure targeted and timely customer communication. You will implement marketing automations and ensure the technical quality of data structures, message templates, deliveries, and performance. You will utilize campaign and contact data for targeted marketing and communication logic. You will explore and develop ways to utilize AI in customer communication planning, implementation, and automation processes. You will ensure the reliability of data flows, interfaces, and system integrations. You will support the team and stakeholders by coaching, training, and producing technical specifications for marketing technology development projects. You will succeed if you enjoy technical work, are analytical and systematic, and communicate clearly even to non-technical colleagues. You need the ability to operate at the interface of marketing, data, technology, sales, and business, and understand how customer communication and automations impact business. You should have strong experience with marketing automation systems and their development, good knowledge of customer data handling, segmentation, and multi-source data models. Experience with customer data platforms, especially segmentation, profile merging, and data flows, is an advantage. Practical management of marketing automation systems and ability to develop them based on business needs. Understanding of campaign and contact data utilization in marketing and sales. Ability to build rule-based automations, modular message templates, and technically high-quality emails, e.g., using HTML and style structures. Ability to solve technical problems, integration challenges, and data anomalies. Proactive, precise, and responsible work approach, especially in regulated, critical, and risk-sensitive communication. Curiosity about new tools, AI solutions, and industry developments. Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and communicate business-driven. Join us!
