You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, where you can utilize and develop your skills broadly. The work involves three-shift work and includes diverse and changing care situations from acute care to rehabilitation and palliative care. Patients arriving at the department come from Tyks Emergency, social and health care centers' emergency services, or from specialized care for further treatment. We care for patients in geriatrics, neurology, internal medicine, traumatology, and orthopedics. The position is a temporary employment from June 1, 2026, to August 30, 2026. Flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly to changing situations are required. The role requires up-to-date medication competence (LOVe) or its approved completion at the start of employment. The minimum qualification is a professional degree in social and health care (practical nurse) or an earlier school-level degree in the field. Nursing students should have completed over 90 credits. We require good Finnish language skills, and knowledge of Swedish is considered an advantage. Experience in hospital ward work is also an advantage.
