Jewelry maker - Daughter of the North Oy - Kajaani, Finland

We are hiring a Jewelry Maker for Daughter of the North. Demand for our jewelry has exceeded expectations at the beginning of the year, and we are now looking to quickly hire a Jewelry Maker for the busy summer season. If demand continues to grow, there is a strong possibility that the position will continue beyond the summer. Your workplace will be in the heart of Kajaani, in our beautifully enchanting jewelry studio. The studio is located in a newly renovated, over 100-year-old heritage building, known locally as the old Lönnrot School. Your tasks will mainly include manufacturing jewelry components and finished jewelry pieces, but in July the role will also involve customer service in our studio store as well as packing orders for our online shop. We are looking for someone with a cheerful, energetic, and proactive attitude toward work. Since this is hands-on craftsmanship requiring a high level of manual dexterity, you must be able to perform delicate and detail-oriented tasks. Due to the customer service aspect of the role, proficiency in Finnish is required. You should have previous experience in crafts, jewelry making, or similar skills that have developed your dexterity. Formal education in the field is not required, as we will provide training for the position. Previous experience in e-commerce, sales, or customer service is considered an advantage.
