Electrical Design Engineer - SWECO - Kajaanin alue, Finland

Are you interested in industrial electrical design for significant local clients while being part of one of Finland's leading design and consulting companies? We are looking for an experienced electrical power engineering specialist or electrical designer to join Sweco Kajaani team. The role involves working on diverse industrial clients and demanding design projects, requiring strong experience in industrial electrical design and the ability to independently take responsibility for project execution. The work includes electrical circuit diagrams, substations, switchgear, and power distribution design, mainly for systems over 1 kV, with on-site client visits and project management. The role requires regular work in Kajaani and client sites, with flexibility based on your expertise. The ideal candidate has a suitable electrical engineering degree (e.g., BSc, MSc, or Diplomi-insinööri), several years of experience in industrial electrical design, and practical skills in circuit diagrams, substations, switchgear, and power networks. Understanding of systems over 1 kV and willingness to work in Kajaani and at client sites are essential. Good cooperation and customer service skills, along with independent work attitude, are required. S1 or S2 certification, experience leading design projects, and ability to support other designers are advantageous. The team in Kajaani consists of seven specialists in automation, instrumentation, and electrical engineering, working on various projects across Finland.
