Mobile Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician for Mateko in Espoo - Adecco Finland Oy - Helsinki, Finland

As a heavy equipment maintenance technician, you are the trusted team member on the field – helping customers with both scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs. Your work is independent and includes servicing and repairing contract customers' earthmoving and property maintenance equipment at customer sites. You will be provided with a well-equipped service vehicle. Although the work is autonomous, your work community consists of experienced technicians at the Espoo location, and support is always available by phone. On the field, you make your own decisions and perform your tasks. This position is suitable for someone who enjoys independent work supported by a knowledgeable team, and who is not afraid of responsibility or challenges! This is a full-time, permanent position. The workshop and office are located in Espoo, but you may also start your workday from home if desired. Working hours are mainly weekdays 8-16, with flexible hours possible within the maintenance schedule. Flexibility in working hours is appreciated to complete tasks within the same day. The work primarily covers the Uusimaa region, with occasional assignments in Kotka or Turku. You will be directly recruited to Mateko, and the start date is during the fall. Main tasks include servicing and repairing machinery at customer sites, scheduled maintenance and fault diagnostics for heavy equipment, mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical repairs, and communicating with and serving customers. The equipment mainly includes construction machinery (e.g., excavators, wheel loaders, and telescopic handlers). Work is performed where the machines are located; in summer, you can enjoy the sunshine, but be prepared to work in winter cold at any location.
