We are looking for an engaged after-school supervisor who works as a mentor for grades 1-6 during school days and as an activity leader in the afternoons. The job suits you if you are responsible, cooperative, and accustomed to working independently on various tasks. You should be a confident adult who sets clear boundaries and shows great empathy. As an after-school supervisor, you help and support students in daily activities. As an activity leader, you are responsible for implementing daily activities together with other leaders. A positive attitude and encouraging approach are needed to carry out meaningful activities for students after school hours. School name and address: Karamalmens School, Karaängsvägen 4, 02610 Espoo. Working hours: at least 21 hours/week. Weekly hours may vary from year to year depending on available resources. During the 2026-2027 school year, working hours are 38 hours and 15 minutes per week. The position is permanent. Qualifications: Vocational qualification as a school assistant or other suitably defined education. We expect the ability to lead groups of children and excellent oral and written skills in Swedish. We also expect you to have good rapport with children and the ability to work in a team. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract according to section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act (770/1993). We value previous experience as an after-school supervisor and in afternoon activities and/or experience as a leader of children’s groups. We also value flexibility and initiative.
