We are seeking an operations manager/shift supervisor for our production organization to join our team of 10 experienced production supervisors and specialists. The role involves working towards a more responsible and environmentally friendly future, improving production efficiency and quality. The operations manager's responsibilities include post-processing, i.e., slitters PL5, 9, 10, and 11, as well as packaging: - Ensuring production efficiency and quality in post-processing with 26 experienced slitters and workers in packaging - Developing post-processing, including investments - Assessing and improving safety and environmental risks within the area of responsibility Personnel: - Developing and leading the skills and performance of post-processing staff - Covering for shift supervisors - Developing production workers' skills, transfers, and vacation planning in cooperation with the operations managers and shift supervisors - Implementing defined production investment projects You will report to the production manager. We expect the applicant to have: - A higher education degree - At least 3-5 years of experience in production work, preferably in process industry - A highly independent work approach - Fluent Finnish and English language skills - Good teamwork skills - An understanding of overall processes (not focusing on a single issue but seeing the broader impact and cause-effect relationships) Starting salary is €4,500 – €5,000 per month, depending on experience.
