Your tasks As a nurse in Portsa home care, you will act as a healthcare expert within a multidisciplinary team and support the practical nurses' nursing skills. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, evaluating, and developing patient care and home services at the client's home. In your team, you will ensure continuity of care and communication with practical nurses. The work involves active interaction with clients, relatives, the work community, and various partners, including via phone. Meeting clients and their relatives at home is also a key part of the job. The work is primarily during weekdays. What we offer you We offer a permanent position in a home care unit in the central area of Turku. Your team of nurses, the home care nurse network, a doctor, the responsible nurse, and a supervisor will support you. You will also have access to specialist services such as diabetes and wound care. You can complete the LOVe medication license through the employer at the start of employment if needed. What we expect from you You have the ability to plan and coordinate client care and work as an expert in a multidisciplinary team. We value experience working with the elderly and OMNI360 and RAI expertise. Good Finnish language skills are required. An active LOVe medication license, vaccination license, driver’s license, and access to a car are considered advantages. The qualification requirement for the position is a license as a registered nurse according to the Health Care Professionals Act (559/1994).
