Practical Nurse (80%), family caregiver support, Ostrobothnia Wellbeing Services County - Pohjanmaan hyvinvointialue - Jakobstad, Finland

We are seeking a practical nurse for the Ostrobothnia Wellbeing Services County. The initial placement is in the family caregiver support unit for those over 65, in the northern part of the wellbeing services county (Jakobstad, Pedersöre, Nykarleby, Luoto). You will work in the client's home and ensure that daily life runs safely when the family caregiver needs to attend to their own affairs. Work is on weekdays from 8:00 to 16:00, and situations are both pre-arranged and sudden, where the client cannot be left alone. The work is versatile and may include, for example: - working according to a rehabilitative approach and implementing individual and meaningful activities during visits - presence and ensuring daily safety - accompanying and supporting clients during doctor's visits - assisting in situations when the client moves to interval care Your presence brings security and well-being - you are an important support for both the client and the family caregiver and help ensure the smoothness of daily life. Job duties require a driver's license and the possibility of using one's own car. Medication permits must be completed or completed within two months of the start of employment. Eligibility requirement: Degree of practical nurse or a degree in accordance with the Decree on Healthcare Professionals (564/1994) or the Government Decree on Social Care Professionals (153/2016). Satisfactory oral and written skills in both national languages of the country. Those with a practical nurse's degree are required to register in both professional registers of the License and Supervision Authority, Terhikki and Suosikki. The selected person must have a valid vaccination protection in accordance with Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act (1227/2016). Additionally, the selected person must present an extract from the criminal record as intended in Section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act. A probationary period applies.
