Test Engineer - GE Healthcare Oy - Uusimaa, Finland

As a Test Engineer, you will join a team of software test experts whose goal is to design test solutions that challenge and stress the functionality, reliability, and performance of our wearable patient monitoring products. This is a unique role that involves a high level of hands-on work with lab equipment, and therefore requires the majority of the time to be spent on-site. The position is based in Vallila, Helsinki, where GE HealthCare employs approximately 700 people across engineering, R&D and manufacturing. The Helsinki site is a center of excellence for wearable patient monitoring, with a long-standing reputation as a powerhouse of innovation. Key responsibilities include executing manual testing activities, supporting test automation development, system installation and maintenance, troubleshooting, translating product requirements into test scenarios, documenting results, ensuring compliance with medical standards, and contributing to continuous improvement. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant fields, experience in software development and manual testing, troubleshooting skills, proficiency in AI-assisted development, and fluency in English. Preferred skills include experience testing medical devices, automation, Git, Linux, and agile methodologies.
