Public Health Dentist (Oral Health Care, Joutsan Area: Vaajakoski and Toivakka) - Keski-Suomen hyvinvointialue

We are currently hiring a full-time public health dentist in the Joutsan area. The dentist's duties are located in the oral health care services of Toivakka and Vaajakoski Sampoharju. Toivakka's oral health care is situated in the same building as the social and health services point. Toivakka has two treatment rooms, one of which is used by the dentist and the other by a dental hygienist or a dental nurse working independently with patients. Sampoharju in Vaajakoski has five treatment rooms, and the dental clinic is in the same building as the health center. You will have the opportunity to work in a team with dentists, dental hygienists, and dental nurses. We offer an interesting and diverse job, and support your professional development. The patient record system used is Lifecare. Consultation support is available nearby, and we have access to specialized and secondary care support in various fields. Salary is based on a career ladder system. The base salary starts at €4,684.63 per month for a recent graduate, plus procedure fees according to the doctor’s contract. Qualifications include a licensed dentist in Finland. Candidates are expected to have good teamwork and communication skills. Versatile and smooth clinical basic work skills, experience in treating patients of all ages, and professional development training are considered an advantage. Additionally, sufficient spoken and written Finnish language skills are required for the role. Employment terms are governed by the doctors’ employment and civil service collective agreement. A probationary period applies. The ability to meet the requirements of Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act (measles and rubella) is required.
