As a procurement engineer, you will be responsible for operational procurement activities for industrial and energy projects as part of a multidisciplinary project team. Your work will ensure that equipment, materials, and services are procured on time, cost-effectively, and in accordance with project requirements, in collaboration with project teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Your tasks include preparing and sending requests for quotations, comparing offers and conducting technical and commercial evaluations, supporting supplier negotiations, preparing and managing purchase orders, and monitoring deliveries and logistics, as well as procurement reporting. We are looking for candidates to work on construction sites across Finland. To succeed, you should have a strong understanding of project-based procurement processes. You have a suitable engineering, technology, or other relevant degree, and your language skills enable you to work in Finnish and English, both spoken and written. You have good system skills (e.g., MS Office, ERP systems like SAP or IFS) and the ability to manage multiple procurement packages simultaneously. You possess good communication and negotiation skills and are willing to travel within Finland.
