Warehouse Workers for Avialogik in Vantaa - Barona Varastopalvelut Oy - Vantaa, Finland

A summer job at the heart of logistics awaits! We are looking for energetic and reliable logistics workers for temporary warehouse tasks at Barona's own logistics center, the modern Avialogiki in Vantaa Viinikkala. The products handled at Avialogiki vary from industrial supplies to foodstuffs and household items, and during the day, workers may perform different tasks. Previous warehouse experience is a definite plus, so please include it comprehensively in your application. Additionally, we value forklift skills, so mention that as well. Possible tasks include: - Receiving tasks, such as unloading products from trucks and containers, sorting, checking quantities and quality, and recording into the reception system - Picking by foot or forklift - Other tasks such as labeling, packing, or inventory Work shifts depend on the department and are scheduled between Monday and Sunday from 6 am to 10 pm. The job requires fluent Finnish language skills and being of legal age. Employment contracts are made with Barona Varastopalvelut Oy, and there are multiple open positions. The salary is based on the retail sector collective agreement, pay grade B, influenced by your previous logistics experience. Training will start as soon as possible, and contracts are initially until the end of September, with a hope for commitment throughout the employment period. Shifts are 4-5 per week, and contracts are for 30 hours. We expect from you: - Willingness to work all shifts - Good physical condition, thoroughness, and accuracy - Energetic and reliable attitude, ability to work independently and proactively - Previous warehouse experience is a plus!
