Digital Electronics Designer, DA-Design Oy - Academic Work

We are looking for a skilled and motivated digital electronics designer to join our design team in developing and designing digital systems and solutions using modern design, simulation, and verification tools. Your tasks will include digital electronics design, testing, verification, troubleshooting, and documentation of design work. We are especially seeking someone with knowledge or experience in digital systems and FPGA design. The work can be done remotely 1-2 days a week. Work Tasks - Designing, developing, testing, and integrating complex digital systems - Logic synthesis, simulation, and test bench implementation for digital systems - FPGA-based product design, testing, and verification - Design of embedded and distributed digital systems, including real-time systems and bus technologies - Evaluation of system performance and making necessary modifications to plans - Conducting comprehensive tests, identifying, and fixing faults and issues - Documentation of design work and preparation of technical reports We are looking for - A relevant university degree and/or field studies - Experience or skills in digital electronics and FPGA design (e.g., VHDL, Verilog) - Understanding of logic design, simulation, verification, and development tools (e.g., Xilinx Vivado or Altera Quartus) - Systematic and careful work approach and ability to manage overall tasks - Good problem-solving skills and analytical thinking - Proficiency in Finnish and English - Attitude and desire to develop towards broader responsibilities and leadership roles We also value experience with embedded Linux.
