We are looking for a public health nurse for the Eastern and Northern Lapland Family Center and health station services in Muonio. Your duties will consist of 60% student health care and 40% health checks for the unemployed and informal caregivers, adult health promotion, vaccinations, hearing tests, etc. The job also includes student guidance. It is a day shift position. We expect you to have an independent work approach, the ability to manage overall tasks, and a development-oriented mindset. In addition to nursing skills, customer-oriented work attitude and good interaction and teamwork skills are important. Experience as a public health nurse is considered an advantage. Employment terms are governed by the SOTE agreement. The salary for the position is €3,271.74 per month. A 6-month probation period applies. We follow the vaccination requirements of the work and infectious disease law for staff vaccination protection. The position requires a criminal background check (Act on the Background Checks of Persons Working with Children 504/2002).
