Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operational Technology Integration Engineer. The role involves developing, configuring, and deploying software and control technologies on the GEMS SW platform to solve electrical power and energy problems. The candidate will code primarily in Java, with occasional use of JavaScript and Python, and will need to understand electrical engineering documents and collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and software engineers. Travel up to 20% may be required to assist with commissioning at solar, wind, energy storage, or hybrid power plants. Key skills include experience with SCADA standards, programming in Java, JavaScript, Python, networking, industrial communication protocols, and knowledge of Grid Code Compliance. A degree in Electrical Engineering is required, with preferred knowledge of TCP/IP, industry protocols, cybersecurity, Linux, and software development tools. The role is based in Fareham, UK, or Finland.
