Technical Consultant II - Bentley Systems - Remote - Global

The Consultant II aligns with business and IT stakeholders to translate business issues and requirements into best practice processes, blueprint, and functional specifications. This role is responsible for working on complex challenges utilizing and developing technical skills contributing to both client and internal projects working both collaboratively and independently. The Consultant II is also responsible for assisting more junior members of the team. During the software development and implementation, the Consultant II is responsible for securing quality of deliverables and effectiveness of communication between the implementation teams (Configuration, interfacing, data mapping/conversion etc). Along with project responsibilities this role is involved in Advisory Services projects, where they assess and advise clients on their maturity in Asset Management and/or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems. Responsibilities include providing technical leadership, configuring and customizing client solutions, managing multiple projects, facilitating workshops, assessing progress, supporting data activities, and mentoring team members. Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer, with up to 50% travel. Qualifications include a relevant degree or applicable work history, 4-7 years’ experience, knowledge of databases, SQL, SDLC, asset management systems, and IT networking. Desirable skills include experience with SQL Server, Oracle, Java, Python, version control, and IBM Maximo. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
