The role involves working as a class teacher in a fourth-grade team, which includes class teachers, a special education teacher, and a school counselor. Our school operates on a co-teaching model. The supported students generally study inclusively as part of their grade-level group. Rakokivi School, located in the multi-purpose building Loisto since fall 2021, is a primary school with approximately 450 students, situated in Rakokivi shopping center with good transportation connections. Loisto also houses Rakokivi Daycare, Nastola Library, and other users. In addition to the excellent facilities of the multi-purpose building, there are great sports opportunities nearby. Our school has strong expertise in learning support, and our community enjoys working together. We actively share knowledge within the building and aim to utilize staff strengths. In addition to qualifications, we value teamwork skills, a desire and ability to develop teaching, and flexibility in learning environments. Interpersonal skills, flexibility, and suitability to the work community influence the selection. The selection is based on suitability and qualifications. The qualification requirement is to be qualified as a class teacher. Qualification requirements are based on the Decree on Qualifications and Qualifications Requirements for Teaching Staff (986/98). If there are no qualified applicants, the position may be filled by an applicant without the qualification. The selected candidate must present a criminal background check as required by law 504/2002 before starting the position. A drug test certificate may also be requested.
