Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will work with the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of heavy vehicles and equipment in a professional workshop environment. Your Tasks - Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work on heavy vehicles and equipment - Identify mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults - Carry out scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance - Use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment safely and efficiently - Ensure all work is completed according to safety and quality standards - Keep service records and documentation up to date - Collaborate with colleagues and support a smooth workshop operation - Maintain a clean and organized working environment - Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving in daily workshop tasks - Continuously develop technical skills and knowledge of modern vehicle systems We Expect From You - Strong experience in heavy vehicle maintenance and repairs - Ability to work independently in a multi-brand environment (e.g. Volvo, Scania, Mercedes-Benz) - Good understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems - Experience with diagnostics and workshop systems is considered a strong advantage - Knowledge of air brake systems and axle components - Ability to read and understand technical manuals and repair instructions - Team spirit, initiative, and a proactive working attitude - Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Understanding of workplace safety standards and safe working practices - Basic English communication skills; Finnish language skills are an advantage - Valid driving license We Offer - Competitive salary based on experience and skills, with opportunities for growth - Regular working hours with a flexible working time system - Support for work-life balance through modern working time arrangements - Comprehensive occupational health care services - Employee benefits promoting well-being and leisure activities - Training and development opportunities to support your professional growth - A supportive, skilled, and cooperative team environment - Safe and well-equipped workshop facilities We value a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
