We are seeking a qualified early childhood education childcare worker for a fixed-term employment contract (September 1, 2026 - July 31, 2027) at Käpymetsä Daycare to join our committed work community. Our team consists of professionals passionate about developing early childhood education, and we now need additional support. As an early childhood education childcare worker, your tasks include planning, implementing, and evaluating daily activities for children in collaboration with other professionals. You will create and maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere. You will work closely with parents and other stakeholders to promote the child's best interests. You will actively participate in pedagogical planning and team development activities. You will support the child's individual development and well-being. Requirements include a basic qualification in education and guidance, social and health care, or an equivalent relevant qualification, including or supplemented with sufficiently extensive studies in child care, education, and teaching. Specific requirements for relevant degrees and study modules are detailed in government regulations.
