Lead Integration Developer and Service Owner - Aktia Bank Abp - Helsinki, Finland

Aktia is seeking an experienced integration developer to modernize legacy integrations towards an Azure iPaaS-based target architecture. You will work as part of the Data and AI team, whose key task is to unify data management and develop it to support scalable unified platforms and solutions. In your role, efficient data management, process automation, and the use of AI are emphasized, which are central to Aktia's renewal. You will work in close cooperation with the Development and Service Area Lead of the integration area, the integration architect, and various domain architects, application developers, business, and our development and support partners. Job Description: In this role, you will act as a technical key person in the modernization of integration platforms. The task focuses heavily in the early stages on practical development work and the implementation of the transformation, and will evolve in the future towards a broader service responsibility role. Key areas of responsibility: - develop, maintain and modernize Aktia's integration solutions especially from legacy platforms towards an Azure iPaaS-based target architecture - participate as a hands-on developer in the analysis, design, implementation, testing and deployment of integrations - be responsible for the controlled transformation and modernization of Oracle Service Bus-based and other older integration implementations - utilize AI-assisted methods in the documentation, analysis, code and configuration review and acceleration of migration of legacy integrations - build and develop solutions in the Azure iPaaS environment in cooperation with the integration architect, other developers, application teams and partners - support the standardization, reusability, automation and harmonization of integration practices. Develop the Azure integration services-based iPaaS integration platform. - participate in the technical service management, change management, production support and continuous improvement of integrations - gradually develop in the role towards service responsibility for integration platforms and services, including monitoring of service lifecycle, quality, costs and supplier cooperation - support the transition of Aktia's integration services towards a more unified, scalable and cost-effective platform model. What we hope for from you: We are looking for a person with strong practical experience in integration development and a desire to act as a technical implementer in a significant modernization project. We expect from you: - strong hands-on experience in developing, maintaining and modernizing integrations - experience from legacy integration platforms, such as Oracle Service Bus, or similar enterprise integration environments - practical experience with integration protocols, integration patterns and the implementation of synchronous and asynchronous integrations - expertise in cloud-based integration platforms, especially the Azure iPaaS environment - ability to read, analyze and renew existing integration solutions and move them in a controlled manner to new technology - interest and practical readiness to utilize AI tools to support development work, documentation, analysis and migration - understanding of security, data protection and the requirements of a regulated environment such as the financial industry - ability to collaborate with architects, application developers, business, support partners and other stakeholders - initiative, self-direction, solution-orientedness and perseverance to bring tasks to completion. Experience in the following is considered an advantage: - financial industry - Azure as an integration platform - implementation of cloud-based integration platforms - use of AI in the modernization of integration platforms, legacy solutions or application environments - automated documentation, testing, migration or refactoring of integrations - DevOps operating models, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and continuous improvement of production - ITIL service management and agile development.
