Product Development Engineer - Kaiku HR Oy - Remote - Global

Raikka Oy is a Finnish company manufacturing machined parts and defense supplies. The company's headquarters are in Espoo, with production facilities in Eurajoki. The company operates in two business units: a machine shop and an explosive factory. These units' synergy and collaboration strengthen the entire company, especially in innovation and production. They are now seeking a Product Development Engineer for a permanent position in Eurajoki. The role involves strengthening the existing product development team with mechanical and mechatronic expertise. You will be responsible for product development, management, documentation, and implementation of projects, ensuring system operation in all conditions. You will work closely with stakeholders defining product development requirements. The ideal candidate has strong skills and experience in mechanical/mechatronic design and safety-critical systems. Requirements include a degree in engineering or DI, experience in similar roles, proficiency in English (written/spoken), system knowledge (SolidWorks), and documentation skills. Preferred skills include electronics design experience, previous regulatory cooperation, organizational, communication, and teamwork skills, independence, resilience, and multitasking ability.
