Shift Supervisor, Airport Café Ivalo Airport - Staffpoint Holding Oy - Inari, Finland

StaffPoint is seeking a shift supervisor for the café at Ivalo Airport for the winter season 2026-2027. The airport is a busy and unique work environment where you will encounter diverse customers and utilize your language skills daily. Your responsibilities include ensuring the cleanliness and smooth customer service of the café-restaurant, implementing campaigns, product displays, and seasonal activities with the team. You will work in the airport café-restaurant and souvenir shop according to flight schedules from early morning. You are the right person if you enjoy an international environment. Our clients value friendly and prompt service. The work is busy and fast-paced, with each day being different. Your duties include ensuring smooth operations during your shift, taking orders, planning shifts in exceptional situations, inventory management, and monthly stocktaking. The work begins in November and lasts until the end of the winter season, approximately March-April 2027, based on the agreement. It is full-time, 112.5 hours/3 weeks. The employment contract is between the employee and StaffPoint. Lapland Hotels chain is a smoke-free workplace. Requirements: - Previous experience in the restaurant industry - Ability to manage tasks, teamwork skills, and a firm supervisory attitude - Finnish and English language skills; additional languages are an advantage.
