We are seeking TEACHER OF BASIC EDUCATION AND HIGH SCHOOL EDUCATION, GUIDANCE COUNSELING For a fixed-term substitute position from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2027. The subject taught is guidance counseling. The position is located at Hamina High School, which is situated near the center of Hamina. The high school has approximately 270 students, plus about 50 students pursuing dual qualifications from Ekami and Harju Learning Center. Hamina High School offers a professional and relaxed work community as well as modern teaching facilities. We are looking for a guidance counselor who is approachable, empathetic, and possesses strong guidance skills, good interaction skills, and a desire to be part of the high school community. The ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team is essential for success. Good digital skills and a flexible, student-centered working approach are considered advantages. The final weekly hours will be confirmed in the work plan for the 2026-2027 school year. The qualifications for the position are based on the decree on the qualifications of education personnel (986/98).
