Job Description
The youth worker is responsible for planning and guiding practical youth work mainly in the southern Eurajoki area. Key tasks include open youth center activities, Walkers youth café operations, and organizing related volunteer work. Activities during school holidays such as trips and camps, collaboration with schools, various events and campaigns, and social media use are important parts of the role, carried out together with another youth worker. The youth worker works regularly 2-3 evenings per week, as well as at events, trips, and camps during school holidays, with possible weekend and night shifts. Use of a personal car is required. A community pedagogue or other higher education degree in guiding or social services. Experience in youth work and group guidance is required. Use of a personal car is necessary. A criminal record extract must be presented before starting work.
