Job Description

In Finland, during peak season, over 550 enthusiastic staff work in our 24 department stores. In 2025, we opened new Biltema stores in Kouvola, Porvoo, and Lohja, with Hämeenlinna opening in February 2026, and our growth continues — the next stores are planned for Oulu, Joensuu, and Kokkola in autumn 2026. We are looking for energetic part-time salespeople (3 positions) Next to the Biltema store in Mikkeli, there is a Biltema Cafe, and we are seeking three energetic and customer-oriented part-time salespeople to work in both the café and the store. The employment is permanent, with an average of 10 hours per week. In the Biltema Cafe, you will provide excellent customer service, operate the cash register, and prepare and display products sold in the café. As a sales associate in the department store, your tasks include standard sales duties: customer service both in the store and at the service point, cash handling, unloading stock, shelf stocking, and maintaining store cleanliness. We expect from you: Sales and customer service orientation, and good communication skills Being of legal age due to the products sold Willingness to work all shifts: mornings, evenings, and weekends Hygiene passport or willingness to obtain one. The employer regularly organizes hygiene passport training.
