Welcome to join us at the multiservice unit Dorvu in Utsjoki! We are looking for practical nurses for various temporary positions from June 1 to August 31, 2026. The multiservice unit Dorvu offers comprehensive, good everyday life for long-term residents requiring round-the-clock care, as well as short-term care to support living at home. Dorvu has 10 residents, along with licensed places in the home hospital and social and crisis emergency services for the elderly. Residents have their own homes and shared lounge and outdoor areas. Dorvu operates in three shifts. During morning and evening shifts, you will work with either a practical nurse or a care assistant, along with the nurse from the nursing team. Night shifts are staffed with two employees. The staff at Dorvu are shared with home care, so you can also work flexibly as part of home care, providing home-delivered services independently, supported by the nursing team. In elderly services, as a practical nurse, you can utilize your professional skills broadly. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team but also work independently. The practical nurse's work includes planning, implementing, and evaluating client care together with the team. We offer support from professional and friendly colleagues. Task-based salary of €2,665.84/month plus a recruitment bonus of €750/month. Opportunity to live in a shared apartment with Laphan during the employment. Requirements include a practical nurse qualification or equivalent, and registration with JulkiTerhikki/JulkiSuosikki (Valvira). We expect applicants to have good cooperation skills and the ability and desire to work as part of a multidisciplinary team. Be independent and proactive. Knowledge of Sami language is considered a special advantage. The employment terms are governed by the Sote agreement. A trial period may be applied, which can be up to half of the employment duration. We follow the vaccination requirements as per the law on infectious diseases.
