Job Description
We are hiring workers for a basic course starting in October 2026! We are recruiting physically capable team players for Helsinki-Vantaa Airport. Working on the ramp involves teamwork, and we are looking for positive-minded employees to join our skilled team. The primary responsibility is ensuring safety—operating according to aviation regulations is non-negotiable, even in busy situations. We take pride in ensuring that aircraft depart safely and on time. As a ramp worker, you will receive and dispatch aircraft along with luggage and passengers. Baggage handling includes collecting and sorting luggage. A valid B-class driver's license is required, as you will be driving and operating ground service equipment. At Helsinki-Vantaa, 70% of our fleet is emission-free as a result of our responsibility efforts. This shift work can be hectic at times. Success in this role requires resilience under pressure, flexibility, and reliability. We value readiness for shift work and experience with irregular schedules. Applicants must meet the following requirements: - At least 18 years old - Clean criminal record (a basic security clearance will be conducted for selected candidates) - Proficiency in Finnish and satisfactory spoken and written English - Good physical condition (a light fitness test related to body control and mobility will be conducted during the interview) - Sufficient computer skills - Valid B-driver's license - Valid official ID (passport or police-issued ID card) No prior aviation experience is necessary—we provide training! The position is temporary and full-time (112 hours/3 weeks) until March 31, 2027. The qualifications gained are valid for several years and are used by companies operating at ISAGO-certified airports worldwide. Working at Airpro, in the heart of air traffic, could be exactly what you have been looking for! Employment is contingent upon successful completion of the basic course, online training, and security clearance. After the course, you will start as a Ramp Worker in the assigned pay group, with a basic monthly salary of €2,320.87. Additionally, shift work pays according to the collective agreement, approximately €300-600 per month depending on shifts. The law on privacy in the workplace applies to this position. A drug test is required as part of the employment screening. Our airport professionals are ready to support you, even in busy passenger traffic. Interested? Apply immediately, as we will fill the positions once suitable candidates are found. The application period is open until July 31, 2026. Interviews will begin during the application period, and we will also conduct interviews after the deadline. We aim to contact applicants within two weeks after the application period ends. The application process includes a video interview component. Please keep your response video to a maximum of one minute. For more information, contact us via email at rekry@airpro.fi.
