Job Description
Boldan is Finland's leading expert and wholesale supplier of sewer accessories. Our headquarters and production facilities are located in Nurmijärvi, and products are also manufactured at our Koria plant. Our innovative and knowledgeable staff have extensive and diverse experience in sewer rehabilitation worldwide. What would you do with us? As a Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the warehouse and logistics at the Rajamäki location, ensuring smooth daily operations from the perspectives of the team, deliveries, and customers. The role combines practical operational work, supervisory responsibilities, and the opportunity to genuinely develop operations in an international environment. In your daily work, you will ensure the functionality of storage and logistics processes, organize transportation, and utilize the ERP system as part of daily activities. The job also includes coordinating inventories, managing documents related to products and deliveries, and collaborating with internal stakeholders, transportation partners, and suppliers. The role is not solely office-based; you will also participate in practical warehouse tasks such as picking, packing, and shipping as needed. You will lead a team of four and be responsible for daily team management, work time tracking, and development discussions. Additionally, you will participate in management team activities and influence the development of logistics practices within the international corporate environment. If suitable, the role may expand in the future to include supervisory responsibilities in production. The work is mainly performed on-site in Rajamäki within a close-knit, flat organizational community. Working hours are scheduled on weekdays between 7:15 and 16:00. What do we expect from you? We hope you have practical experience in warehouse work and international logistics processes, as well as previous supervisory experience. Success in this role requires the ability to oversee the whole process and lead the team decisively yet people-oriented. You should have at least five years of experience in logistics or warehouse supervisory roles. Experience in wholesale or manufacturing industries is considered an advantage. Experience with ERP systems, especially Oscar Pro-ERP, is valued, but familiarity with other enterprise resource planning systems also provides a good foundation. Working languages are Finnish and English. English is mainly used for email communication with foreign suppliers, so fluent written English is sufficient for success in the role. You are calm, analytical, and firm. You can take time to consider matters before making decisions and lead a long-term team clearly and consistently.
