Ferry Operator

We are looking for a Ferry Operator for the Kivimo ferry on a permanent contract. The role includes driving the ferry, handling customer service, ensuring safety, performing maintenance tasks, and cleaning duties on deck, the wheelhouse, and the engine room. The candidate must be committed to safety and responsible work practices; initiative, flexibility and good teamwork are valued. Finnish and Swedish language proficiency is required. The employee will hold the following competencies: ferry operator certificate, medical certificate of fitness for seafaring, VHF maritime radio certificate, emergency first aid certificate (EA1) or equivalent, and Road Traffic 1 certificate; some certificates can be completed via Finferries or Traficom online/at approved sites.
