The municipality of Hattula is hiring a fixed-term class teacher position in the learning environment of grades 5-6 at Juteini School for the period from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2027. Our school’s operational culture is based on individual student encounters, a strong pedagogical structure, and co-teaching. We require applicants to have good cooperation skills and an interest in co-teaching and teamwork. The team shares the overall educational and teaching responsibilities among five teachers. Experience in teaching physical education and crafts (hard materials) is considered an advantage for the class teacher. The basis for the fixed-term appointment is the school network survey, due to decreasing student numbers. The eligibility criteria for the position are determined according to the decree on teaching qualifications (986/98). The selected candidate must provide a criminal record extract related to working with children, as required by law (504/2002). The position is subject to a six-month probation period. The salary is in accordance with the local government collective agreement (OVTES).
