Temporary position for a Licensed Practical Nurse from August 17, 2026, to August 31, 2027, at Home Care Seinäjoki, southwestern area, 50% work hours. Due to regional changes, we need new colleagues! Come and do varied and interesting work with the elderly! There is an opening for a new team member in the southern home care services in Seinäjoki, for a fixed-term employment. You can be an experienced professional or an aspiring home care worker. We provide good orientation to your tasks, and you will be supported by a friendly and professional team in the area. The southwestern area geographically includes parts of Seinäjoki city: Alakylä, Katajalaakso, Jouppila, Huhtala, Uppa, Kapernaumi, Hallila, Kivistö, Kasperi, Pajuluoma, Törnävä, Simuna, Soukkajoki, Kärki. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, your workday consists of diverse tasks, including basic care, wound care, medication management, and functional assessments. Each client has individual needs, which are met according to an agreed plan with a rehabilitative approach. The work is carried out as part of a team, following the principles of patient-centered care. Home care work is mobile, diverse, and varied, and no two days are the same. You will have the opportunity to do interesting, responsible, and independent work, as well as develop your professional skills. Home care responds to clients' needs for assistance every day of the year, and work is performed in two shifts. You will have the opportunity to influence your working hours. The qualification requirement is a basic degree in social and health care, i.e., licensed practical nurse (in accordance with law 559/1994 or 817/2015). Registration with the National Supervisory Authority for Welfare and Health (Valvira) is required. A driver's license and own car are an advantage but not essential. We also have company cars available. Medication authorization in home care must be completed or completed within two months of starting employment. Good spoken and written Finnish language skills are required. We emphasize the applicant's suitability for the position and team in our selection process. Terms of employment and salary are determined according to the SOTE agreement. The starting salary for the position is €2706.00/month. A probationary period applies to the employment.
