Join Sininauha Oy as a service coordinator at the new day center in Helsinki. Your tasks include advising clients, guiding them to appropriate services, and participating in daily activities with colleagues. The role requires listening, communication, and working with diverse people, supported by a skilled multidisciplinary team. The position is versatile, helping clients in various areas, with needs constantly changing. The services target individuals using drugs, especially injecting substances, who are in vulnerable positions, often with backgrounds of homelessness or mental health issues. The goal is harm reduction and enhancing participation and quality of life. You will meet people in different life situations and assist in many areas of life management, working with a supportive, goal-oriented, harm-reduction approach. A social services degree is required, with at least one year of experience in substance abuse and mental health work. Knowledge of the service sector and networks is an advantage. The role requires a hygiene passport and current first aid certification (16h). The position offers insight into modern homelessness work, influence over your work content, a supportive team, and weekday hours (Mon-Fri, 8:15-16:40).
