Full-time Part-time Teacher (History and Social Studies) - Salon Kaupunki - Salo, Finland

The City of Salo has a vacancy for a full-time part-time teacher (history and social studies) at Hermanni School in basic education, starting on October 1, 2026. Hermanni School is a middle school located in the city center. The school has approximately 500 students and about 50 colleagues. Qualifications are determined according to the decree on the qualifications of education personnel (986/1998). The salary for the position is in accordance with the OVTES collective agreement. In addition to the base salary, a personal salary supplement may be paid after six (6) months, based on performance. We also pay a personal supplement to all employees whose employment has lasted over six months. The employment relationship is conditional until the selected candidate provides an acceptable health certificate and a criminal record extract related to working with children, as required by law 504/2002, within 30 days of the employment decision. A six (6) month probationary period applies if the conditions of the collective agreement are met.
