Mechanical Assembler - Kivioja Engineering Oy - Ylivieska, Finland

We are looking for several mechanical assemblers for our team who not only do the work but also understand what they are doing. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical machine components at our factory in Ylivieska and installing them at our customers' production facilities in Finland and abroad. The job requires precision, planning, and the ability to complete tasks independently and cost-effectively. We are seeking candidates with strong independent thinking skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to understand mechanical assemblies in depth. You should be able to anticipate assembly challenges, identify critical points, and solve problems in a way that ensures successful completion of the work. You understand the importance of cost-efficiency in all your work — making solutions that are not only functional but also reasonable and optimal for production. You are proactive, analytical, and focused, capable of maintaining continuous work and efficient progress without constant supervision. You do not get stuck on problems — you solve them. You recognize situations where teamwork can speed up progress and know how to utilize your team effectively. We require candidates to have experience and good technical understanding of machine construction and mechanical installation basics. We offer training to selected individuals, but we expect you to be able to quickly acquire knowledge and apply it independently. We value a straightforward approach to work, clear communication, and a responsible and quality-oriented work attitude. Depending on your skills and interests, you may have the opportunity to take on broader roles later within our international supply chain and maintenance network. In these roles, you can work directly with customers or advance to lead a small installation team.
