School Attendance Supervisor - Kouvolan kaupunki - Kouvola, Finland

We are looking for school attendance supervisors for fixed-term positions at various schools in the City of Kouvola. In this role, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary school community to support students individually according to their needs. The school attendance supervisor supports students' school attendance, well-being, and daily routines in collaboration with teachers and other staff. The job includes supporting learning, study skills, social skills, self-management, and self-regulation, as well as assisting with movement. The supervisor also participates in extracurricular activities such as morning and afternoon activities and clubs. The role involves supervision and guidance tasks, such as recess and transportation supervision, and, if necessary, providing medical support. Candidates for the school attendance supervisor position are required to have a qualification in school attendance supervision or an equivalent qualification suitable for the role. Salary and employment terms are determined according to KVTES. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract issued in accordance with law 504/02, for working with children, within the specified deadline.
