Welcome to our Working Age Social Work and Guidance responsibility unit! We are looking for a lead social worker for a temporary position starting on 8 June 2026 or as agreed, ending on 30 April 2027. The Working Age Social Work and Guidance responsibility unit includes social and crisis emergency services, working age authority services, and services supporting participation and the promotion of financial capacity. As a lead social worker, you will act as the supervisor for the social work and guidance staff in the southwestern area. In the southwestern region, there is also another lead social worker working in the authority services for working age social work and guidance. WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM US? You can lead responsibly and have good communication and interaction skills. The role also requires knowledge of legislation application and service coordination. Previous experience in social work and supervisory roles is considered an advantage. The employment terms are governed by the SOTE agreement. A 5-month probationary period applies.
