Job Description

Skydio is seeking a talented and driven Material Flow Engineer to design, implement, and improve material flow systems supporting product manufacturing. Responsibilities include designing and sustaining material flow processes, developing PFEP strategies, optimizing facility layouts, managing inventory strategies, partnering with production and supply chain teams, leading cycle count programs, supporting warehouse expansion, applying Lean principles, and collaborating cross-functionally to improve inventory and operational efficiency. The role involves developing standard work, visual management tools, and operating procedures to ensure consistent material flow execution. The ideal candidate has experience in manufacturing environments, knowledge of PFEP, facility and warehouse layout design, inventory management principles, cycle counting, Lean manufacturing, WMS/ERP systems, process mapping, and data analysis tools. FAA Part 107 certification is encouraged. Compensation ranges from $127,500 to $210,000 annually, including benefits such as paid vacation, sick leave, holiday pay, and 401K.   • Experience leading cycle counting and inventory accuracy initiatives
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and tools
  • Experience with WMS, ERP/MRP systems, and inventory control
  • Process mapping and CAD skills
  • Data analysis skills using Excel, SQL, Power BI, or Python
