The qualification requirement for the position of daycare director is a qualification in accordance with sections 26 or 27 for a preschool teacher or social worker, and at least a master's degree in education and sufficient leadership skills. Excellent Finnish language skills are required. We value experience in supervisory work, solution-oriented skills, and strong digital competence. The position follows the provisions of OVTES. The salary for the position is currently €3,926.51, including a qualification supplement of €54.21. Before accepting the position, the appointee must present an acceptable medical certificate of health, a drug test certificate (759/2004), and a criminal record extract in accordance with the Act on the Criminal Background Check of Persons Working with Children (504/2002). The position has a probation period of six (6) months.
