Teacher, Entrepreneurship and Financial Management - Länsirannikon Koulutus Oy - Rauma, Finland

We are seeking a teacher for instruction in basic, vocational, and specialized vocational qualifications. The teacher will teach entrepreneurship in preparatory education, particularly for the vocational qualification in entrepreneurship, as well as in other entrepreneurship training courses via face-to-face, remote, and online teaching. The teacher will participate in a team developing WinNova's entrepreneurship strategy. The role also includes teaching financial management (e.g., bookkeeping, amortization, financial statements, and personal finance for young people). We require the applicant to have: - A relevant higher education degree - Pedagogical qualification for vocational teachers or willingness to obtain it - At least five years of experience in own business activities - Strong pedagogical skills - Digital pedagogy skills and online teaching experience - Good interaction and collaboration skills - Excellent Finnish and good English language skills - A driving license (car) - Ability to plan and implement work-based training - Good organizational skills - Proficiency in Office programs and ability to teach them - Commitment and a developmental approach to work - Flexibility and adaptability to change. Preferred: - Teaching experience in a vocational educational institution. The eligibility requirements for the teaching position are determined by the Decree on Qualifications for Teaching Staff (986/1998). If the applicant lacks the qualification, the position can be filled temporarily for up to one year. If only pedagogical studies are missing and the person has been accepted to study those, they can be hired for 1-3 years. The position belongs to the Business, Entrepreneurship, Management, and Media unit. The supervisor is the unit's training manager. The primary work location is at Satamakatu 19 C, Rauma. We follow the collective agreement of KT for the education sector staff. The position has a 6-month trial period.
