We are looking for an à la carte shift supervisor at Lapland Hotels Kilpis for the upcoming summer season 2026. Lapland Hotels Kilpis is located in breathtaking mountain scenery on the shores of Lake Kilpisjärvi, right next to Saana Mountain. The hotel restaurant combines pure northern ingredients with international flavors, offering a hearty breakfast and à la carte dishes enjoyed with views towards Saana Mountain, the Swedish mountains, and the Norwegian peaks. As a shift supervisor, you will be responsible for the smooth daily operation of the kitchen during your shift. The work includes participating in preparing à la carte meals, guiding the team, and organizing work. You will ensure efficient and high-quality service even during busy times. Your duties also include maintaining basic kitchen operations, pre-preparations, ensuring dish quality and presentation, and implementing self-monitoring. The role is highly operational; you will be involved in hands-on work but also responsible for the overall flow during your shift. The work begins on July 1, 2026, and is expected to last until approximately July 31, 2026. The position is full-time. We expect from you: - Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage - Experience and/or education in à la carte cooking - Organized and responsible work attitude - Good teamwork and collaboration skills - Hygiene passport and health certificate for food workers - Proficiency in Finnish and English.
