Real estate law specialist (In-house lawyer)

As the business grows, we are seeking a practical real estate law expert to strengthen our legal team. In this role you will help lay a solid foundation for beautiful homes and serve as the trusted legal partner for your own business unit. As an in-house lawyer you will handle legal matters with a focus on project development, land acquisition and residential construction. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating real estate deeds, pre‑agreements, zoning agreements and easement agreements; ensuring compliance with housing law by managing documents, articles of association and compliance from the Housing Company Act from start to handover on RS-targeted projects; supporting construction contracts (assisting with works contracts under YSE 1998) and designer and subcontractor agreements; providing day-to-day legal support by coaching teams on contract-technical questions and ensuring smooth risk management for the business. You will work closely with management, developers and the sales team, and you will have opportunities to brainstorm with colleagues in similar roles. In the future there may be paths towards business responsibility or corporate governance depending on your skills and goals. What we require: Master of Law (OTM/OTK). You may be in the final stage of your studies. A desire to grow into a comprehensive apartment-construction law expert. Knowledge of or willingness to learn the Housing Company Act, Land Act and YSE 1998 terms. A solutions‑oriented and commercial mindset – able to translate statutes into practical processes. Strong communication and negotiation skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Proficient Finnish.
