We are currently seeking a CNC machinist for our client company in Tampere for a long-term employment. The tasks can be tailored according to the employee's skill level using various CNC-controlled machine tools. The parts machined include gears, shafts, and special gears related to the operation of various machinery and equipment in the industrial and maritime sectors. Success in this role requires a good understanding of machining basics, the ability to read drawings and measure accurately, and a desire to develop in machining with quality as a priority. We naturally value experience, but we also consider applicants who are early in their careers and eager to learn and develop. Comprehensive orientation and strong support from colleagues will be provided. The work can start around August, either as a direct hire or through a fixed-term agency employment, after which the employee is expected to continue in a permanent position directly with our client company. The work is initially performed on weekdays in two shifts with flexible hours from 6 am to 2 pm and 2 pm to 10 pm, 40 hours per week. Later in the autumn, the shift system will switch to a continuous four-shift system. The employment terms follow the industrial sector collective agreement. Salary is based on skills and experience.
