Job Description
The University of Oulu's Research and Project Services unit is seeking a Research Funding Specialist for a permanent position. The team supports researchers in applying for research funding, enhances EU influence at the university level, and assists in strategic research funding activities. The main tasks include supporting the interdisciplinary Institute for Transdisciplinary Studies in research funding, providing advice, training, and communication about EU funding, assisting researchers with grant applications, and developing internal processes. The candidate should have a higher university degree, good knowledge of research funding and EU programs, fluency in Finnish and English, and strong communication skills. Experience in multidisciplinary environments and initiative are advantageous.
