Job Description
The substitute position is from 13.7.2026 to 31.12.2026. We are part of Tyks Hospital Services Neurocenter, and our unit is located at Mäntymäki Hospital. Your tasks We care for neurological patients in the acute phase aftercare in our unit, primarily coming from the Neurocenter's emergency department for continued treatment and rehabilitation. The work involves monitoring during the subacute phase, clinical nursing, and guided daily activities encouraging independence. We plan, implement, and evaluate our work in a strongly multidisciplinary environment with open interaction among different professional groups. Nursing work involves three-shift rotation, with communal shift planning to support work well-being. We work in a team-oriented manner, ensuring support and guidance are readily available. The nurse works on both clinical nursing and medication administration, as well as participating in patients' daily activities. New nurses will initially work alongside experienced colleagues, with responsibilities gradually increasing after individual orientation.
