Are you an experienced communications professional with the ability to mobilize audiences and evoke emotions? Naisten Linja is a national social services organization that provides support to women and girls who have experienced violence. We also serve as the voice of victims in public discourse and influence societal decision-making. We are now seeking an experienced and versatile communications specialist focused on fundraising and advocacy. As a communications specialist, you will implement communication related to advocacy, fundraising, and brand awareness for Naisten Linja, targeting stakeholders, authorities, donors, and the general public. You are the right person if you can produce multi-channel impactful content and campaigns, have an understanding of journalism, and want to work goal-oriented. In your role, you aim to influence public discussion on violence against women. You will produce content for social media channels and secure media coverage on important issues. You are comfortable with commercial aspects and are excited about fundraising goals. You will also aim to influence policymakers, professionals, and authorities through statements and opinions in collaboration with the executive director. This is an independent expert role requiring good teamwork skills and the ability to coach internal communication practices. As a specialist, you will support the organization’s communication readiness and initiative, ensuring content and visual consistency to strengthen Naisten Linja’s voice, visibility, and impact. You will join Naisten Linja’s communications team, led by the fundraising and finance manager, with the closest colleague being the communications specialist responsible for service communication.
