Licensed Practical Nurse, Home Care Kauhava-Kortesjärvi - Etelä-Pohjanmaan hyvinvointialue

We are seeking a licensed practical nurse for a permanent position in Kauhava-Kortesjärvi home care, in the Kortesjärvi team. As a licensed practical nurse in home care, your workday will consist of diverse tasks, including basic care, wound care, medication management, and functional assessments. Each client has individual needs, which home care addresses according to an agreed plan with a rehabilitative approach in collaboration with other service providers and relatives. The purpose of home care is to support the client's functional capacity and independence at home and in daily life, as well as to enable living at home for as long as possible. We hope you are confident in facing new situations and possess good teamwork and communication skills. The job requires an independent work attitude, good organizational skills, and flexibility in changing situations. Additionally, due to the mobile nature of the work, a driving license and personal vehicle are necessary. We also have company cars available for work use. We offer you an independent, interesting, and varied job, along with good orientation and training days as needed. The work involves 2-shift rotations on weekdays and weekends. In our selection process, we emphasize the applicant's suitability for the position and team. The qualification requirement for the position is a basic degree in social and health care, licensed practical nurse (qualification according to law 559/1994 or 819/2015). For home care work, registration with the Valvira social and health care professional register and valid medication management licenses are required. Medication licenses can also be obtained immediately at the start of employment. Terms of employment and salary are determined according to the SOTE agreement. The position-specific salary is €2706.00/month. A trial period applies to the employment. A criminal background check according to law 741/2023 § 28 must be presented before taking up the position. A drug test may be required from the selected candidate. HYVAEP is a smoke-free workplace. The position requires vaccination protection according to the Infectious Diseases Act § 48 and a certificate of tuberculosis screening according to § 55.
