Drill Operator / Ground Investigator / Diamond Drill Operator - Wulff Works Oy

We are seeking a ground investigator / drill operator for our client Taratest Oy for a permanent position in site investigations and rock sampling drilling. Taratest Oy is a rapidly growing and international infrastructure and construction consulting firm employing approximately 250 professionals. The company's services mainly include geotechnical design, ground and bedrock investigations, earthworks and aggregate production services, as well as diverse environmental studies. The work area for the ground investigator is primarily focused on the Helsinki metropolitan area, but projects are carried out throughout Finland as needed. The work involves geotechnical investigations using drilling equipment, so an interest in heavy machinery and equipment is advantageous. Tasks include various drilling methods such as weight, pressing shear, wing, CPTU, and rotary drilling, as well as sampling. The role of the rock sampling diamond drill operator emphasizes diamond drilling and rock sampling drilling. The work requires careful and independent work habits and readiness to work in field conditions. Since a drill rig is used as your tool, maintaining the equipment and performing minor repairs on-site are part of the daily tasks. Major maintenance and extensive equipment upkeep are handled by a dedicated maintenance team. We expect you to have previous experience in ground investigations, drilling, and sampling. We value proactive and results-oriented working style and the ability to work independently. Travel readiness and a B driver's license are required. A C driver's license is considered an advantage. ESCO certification is also a plus but can be obtained during employment. You will be supported by a skilled project team with whom you will regularly communicate. The work will start as agreed, as soon as possible. Salary: The salary is determined according to the infrastructure sector collective agreement.
